Construction of a new CVS pharmacy store is underway at the intersection of Andora Drive and Route 3/Plank Rd in Spotsylvania County, VA.
The pharmacy store is being built on 1.68 acres on the southwest corner of the intersection. The site consists of 5 parcels with one having a physical address of 6010 Plank Rd., Fredericksburg, VA 22407. CVS purchased the site in September of 2017 for an undisclosed price.
The site was formerly occupied by Mike’s Signs 4 Less, who recently relocated to 6037 Old Plank Rd at the intersection of Old Plank Rd and Route 3/Plank Rd.
This will be CVS’s first store location to be built in the greater Fredericksburg Region in the past few years. The most recent was built and opened in the Ladysmith area of Caroline County in 2015.
